Every September and October, the fashion world moves through four cities in a row to show the collections for the following spring and summer. Together these weeks are known as “fashion month”. Here is your simple guide to the Spring/Summer 2027 season.

What happened so far

Milan: what to watch
Prada opens Milan Fashion Week on 22 September, a change from its usual slot in the schedule. Milan is traditionally the home of polished tailoring and luxury craftsmanship, so look out for how the city responds to the more playful mood coming out of New York and London.
Paris: what to watch
Paris closes the season and hosts many of the biggest houses. Several designers are presenting their second collections for major brands this season, which is often when a new creative director’s vision becomes clearer. Not every expected debut is happening now, though: Olivier Rousteing, newly appointed at Rabanne, is scheduled to show his first collection for the house in March 2027 instead.
