Dry, frizzy hair usually comes down to daily habits rather than a lack of expensive products. Change a few small things and you will see a difference within weeks.
When you wash
- Use warm water, not hot
- Focus shampoo on the scalp and conditioner from mid-lengths to ends
- Washing two or three times a week is enough for most hair types
When you dry and style
Blot hair with a soft towel instead of rubbing. Always use a heat protectant before blow-drying, curling or straightening, and keep the dryer on medium heat about 15 cm from your hair.
When you sleep
Never go to bed with wet hair. A silk or satin pillowcase reduces friction, so hair tangles and breaks less. If your hair is long, a loose braid helps.
A weekly treatment
Once a week, apply a hair mask or a little coconut oil to the ends to restore moisture. And don’t forget a trim every two to three months.
